One of the main character here is Blacksmith Lucian ( Michael Sheen)  who has the power to take the form either man or beast at will and he desires more than his freedom but also the beautiful but fiery daughter  Sonia ( Rhona Mitra) of his main enemy despotic Victor ( Bill Nighy), the leader of vampire clan who controlled the wilderness of eastern Europe.

Blacksmith Lucian was raised by Victor but prisoner in the castle and to control Lucian by Victor, Lucian always wearing a moonshacke around his neck to prevent him from transforming into his Lycan form. Victor also uses Lucian bloodline to create a new breed of slave for the vampire to exploit. But soon Lucian lead their clan in a rebellion against the vampire even as he hope to start with a new  life with her beloved Sonia ( daughter of Victor).
